Ava Sweeney wins European One Wall Ladies Open Title.
Congratulations to Ava who took gold for Ireland in the European One Wall Tournament held this weekend in the UK.
Ava joined forces with Israel 🇮🇱 Anastasiya Spiridonov to take home her First Ladies open title after a superb doubles final on a Sunday against UK pairing Shinan Zhang and Zara Elliot.
Ava was also competing in the ladies Open Singles and placed third in the ladies open CategoryMaith thú Ava -we are so proud of your achievements !

Corrib Celtic announced that they were absolutely delighted to share that our very own Aisling Farragher has signed with Mayo FC as part of their U17 League of Ireland squad!
Aisling’s journey began with us as an U6 player, and from day one, she showed incredible talent, dedication, and passion for the game. She excelled in both girls’ and boys’ teams, proving herself as a versatile and determined player.
In 2021, Aisling joined the Galway squad at U12, showcasing her skills both outfield and in goal. Her achievements include:
Her talent didn’t go unnoticed, and in 2024, she was invited to join the FAI Emerging Talent Program, a testament to her dedication and hard work!
From a young age, it was clear that Aisling was destined for great things, and this is just the beginning! We are incredibly proud of her and wish her every success on this new adventure with Mayo FC.

Our special guest and local hero, Fiona Wynne presented our medals and shared some inspirational words which will no doubt resonate with the girls in the years to come!
