It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for the ladies of Annaghdown Ladies Gaelic Football , both on and off the pitch! Their incredible journey began with a well-deserved victory in the Galway LGFA Intermediate Final, defeating Oughterard on a wet and windy day in Caherlistrane.
With no time to rest, the team powered through the Connacht Ladies Gaelic Football Championship, triumphing over St. Francis in the Quarter-Final, St. Ciaran in the Semi-Final, and ultimately defeating Drumcliffe Rosses Point to claim the Connacht Intermediate Final title.All this success comes as the team balances fundraising, community engagements, and relentless training, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to achieving their goals.
