A big win for Vikings this past Wednesday night as they took on Titans Bierhaus in the GABB league competition. Vikings were quick off the mark and gained an early lead with a quick succession of 3’s from Pakie Killilea to open up the game with Titans trailing 18-13. The second quarter was anyone’s game though as Titans settled into their game and managed to close in on Vikings come halftime with a score of 32-26 still in Annaghdowns favour though. Titans came back into the second half strong and took an early lead in the third quarter but Vikings responded well as scoring led by Rando Kozlov and Conor Reddington ensured that Vikings held onto their lead position with a score of 52-45. Vikings weren’t going to back down however and put in a fierce 4th quarter as they held Titans to 11 points whilst they themselves put a further 21 points on the board and secured the Win their first game of 2024.Final score 73-56.
Well done to the men’s squad for a terrific performance 💪🏼 onwards and upwards now to their next game where they take on Moycullen on 21st February at home in Corrandulla hall. All support welcome 👏🏼
