Annaghdown’s U15 player Rory Maguire and Caherlistrane GAA & LGFA’s Matthew Daly, both students of Presentation College Headford, are sending out a survey for a project in the national BT Young Scientist competition.
This project will measure the carbon emissions of their clubs. The survey is an important part of the project and will be out for the next two weeks.
Anyone who completes the survey will be entered into a draw for a football signed by Johnny McGrath and Damien Comer.
The survey will be sent out to the WhatsApp groups of all the club teams. Please support their project.

Two of our 2nd year students – Rory Maguire and Matthew Daly – who will be at the BT Young Science and Technology Exhibition in January recorded an interview at Galway Bay FM today. Their project seeks to analyse the carbon footprint of their local GAA clubs. Look out for the interviews which will air on FYI Galway (5 – 5:30 pm) some time between Christmas and the new year.
