To raise funds for a new Cancer Therapeutic Centre in Cong former Ireland Rugby star Rory Best begins his final leg of his walk across Ireland to Cong tomorrow morning from Cregg to Cong.
We need as many people as possible in Cregg at 6.45am sharp tomorrow morning Thursday the 25th.
Joining Rory will be Mayo Footballer Tommy Conroy, Damo Comer and Shane Walsh and a few more Celebrities. Ireland AM will be there to interview the guys so it’s a great opportunity to showcase our Club to a national audience.
It would be great to have as many kids and adults from our Annaghdown GAA, Annaghdown LGFA and Annaghdown Camogie in there Annaghdown colours to give them a huge Annaghdown welcome and a great send off as they leave Cregg.
We realise it’s very early but if you can make that would be great.
