Freedom Cup – In Memory of Des Nolan – Annaghdown Angling Club. 🎣

The Club will be hosting the Freedom Cup next Sunday 14 April with the kind agreement of the Nolan family following the very recent passing of Des Nolan. It will be the first time that the Competition will be held without the presence of Des. The Nolan family presented the trophy many moons ago and have sponsored it ever since then. It will start at 1030am and the weigh-in will be at 6pm. Entry Fee €10 to be paid at the Pier on the day. Life jackets mandatory, 13” size limit, fly-fishing. It is an Open event. Those who were unable to attend Des’ funeral could pay their respects by participating in the Competition.
